Overview

Reporting to the AP Stock Manager you will be joining a team of 5 who are responsible for the  supplier payments for all products sold in our stores and websites.

We aim to ensure that all stock is paid for at the relevant time to ensure the onward supply chain is unaffected and that products are available to be purchased.

The processes are not yet as automated as we would like and therefore we are looking for someone with proven advanced excel skills and how this knowledge can be utilised to improve our efficiency.


What you'll be doing

  • Assist the AP Manager in stream-lining processes
  • Analyse data from Buying, Logistics and AP and how these can be be best utilised operationally
  • Help reduce the manual administration by introducing time saving processes
  • Providing key business insight to management and stakeholders
  • Documenting of processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams (buyers, logistics etc) to indentify how the purchase to pay process can be improved.
  • Provide weekly cashflow information
  • Assist with account reconciliations and the resolution of any queries
  • Assist with payment run preparation and execution

We'd love to meet someone with

  • The passion for analysing and interpreting data from various sources 
  • Great problem solving skills
  • High level of numeracy and IT skills
  • Advanced level of excvel including macros, sumifs and complex formulas
  • Open, friendly and highly organised and able to work on own initiative
  • Able to communicate at all levels
  • Able to work with the team to jointly make improvements
