Overview


The AP Stock team is responsible for the payment of all stock delivered into our global distribution centres.

The team consists of 4 AP assistants reporting into our AP Manager for stock.

We need to ensure that invoices are paid to their terms and that our supply chain operation is not delayed as a result of invoicing issues.

The assistants work very closely with our Logistics and buying teams and also our third party logistics provider in addition to our international suppliers


What you'll be doing

  • Managing our email box and ensuring queries are resolved
  • Obtaining invoices received electronically and matching to our stock POs
  • Identifying any non-matched invoice lines and flagging to our buyers
  • Processing deposit invoices
  • Managing letter of credits for the relevant suppliers
  • Requesting copy documents such as invoices or bills of lading from our suppliers
  • Preparing our payment runs
  • Raising debit notes / deductions on supplier accounts
  • Uploading journals into our Sun system
  • Flagging issues / delays before they occur so preventative action can be taken
  • Working with excel spreadsheets to reconcile accounts

We'd love to meet someone with

  • Good AP experience ideally in a retail stock environment
  • Is familiar with PO matching and the resolution of differences
  • Good excel skills to include VLookup and Pivot tables
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines - e.g. payment run cut-off.
