Overview

We’re looking for an Email & CRM Marketing Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Email & CRM Manager, the role will support in the planning, delivery and evaluation of retention marketing activities across a variety of channels including email, direct mail and print advertising accross the brands and regions in which we operate.  


What you'll be doing

  • Understand and deliver the email strategy for all regions including the testing program
  • Responsibility of email process from planning to deployment; ensuring all campaigns are deployed on time.
  • Responsible for the deployment of all email campaigns through the ESP; including segment building, set up, testing and final deployment of emails.
  • Responsible for all email content/copy writing and for briefing the creative team on email requirements
  • Support the planning, design and production process for catalogue, direct mail and print media campaigns
  • Use a data driven approach to make commercial decisions on product selection for retention campaigns
  • Weekly reporting; extracting data from the ESP and data reporting tools, updating reports and analysing results with a focus on profitability
  • Support CRM plans; updating changes and circulating changes to relevant teams.
  • Collate monthly data sets for email and suggesting recommendations
  • Have awareness of competitor activity and promotions
  • Ad hoc data comparisons and management of the email testing plan
  • Support with ad hoc analytics for CRM channels

We'd love to meet someone with

  • A degree in marketing, business, communications or a relevant subject is preferred
  • At least 1 years’ experience in an email marketing role, ideally within ecommerce
  • Hands-on experience of using an ESP to build and send emails
  • Data literate, passionate about analysing results and motivated by driving success in the form of revenue and profit
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • strong communication and copy writing skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst remaining calm when under pressure
  • Experience in using Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel desirable
  • Adept at managing multiple concurrent projects and able to prioritise your workload accordingly
  • Pro-active ‘do-er’, keen to roll your sleeves up and make a difference
