Reports to: Garment Technologist
Location: London
We have an amazing opportunity for a full time Assistant Garment Technologist to join our team to manage Jersey and casual dressing categories across men’s and women’s. We are looking for an Assistant Technologist with experience in Jersey and/ or casual clothing.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing the quality and fit for your categories.
- Running fit meetings to drive consistency and improvement.
- Driving innovation in product, performance, and sustainability through benchmarking and technical advances.
- Integral part of the buying team, working with the Garment Technologist to advise on technical and sustainable suitability of fabric, construction and fit.
- Managing your categories testing and AQL programme.
- Monitoring returns data to spot patterns and poor performance to deliver improvements.
- Building supplier relationships to influence quality and fit.
We’d love to meet someone with
- At least 2 years in a clothing technical assistant role.
- Capable of fitting unaided.
- Good data management reporting skills.
- Experience of working with offshore suppliers.
- Excellent influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
- Team player capable of working under pressure to deadlines.
- Organised, methodical with great attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
