Overview
Our Accounts Payable team is based is Coventry and is responsible for the payment of all non-stock invoices both in the UK and Internationally.
The team use a OCR and electronic workflow system to process the invoice and route for approval.
The team also manages our shared email inbox, completes statement reconciliations and resolves queries from suppliers and internal customers.
We have weekly payment runs and undertake additional tasks at period end.
What you'll be doing
- Manage a specified group of supplier accounts
- Managing the group email inbox enssuring all quieries are promptly dealt with
- Undertaking supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries via email or calls
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements e.g. invoice receipt via email, consolidated invoices etc
- Assisting with payment runs and journals
We'd love to meet someone with
- Desire to join an Accounts Payable team and develop a career in Finance
- Strong numeracy and IT skills (particularly Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail, performing all work with high levels of accuracy
- Good spoken and written communication skills and initiative to problem solve
