Reports to: Retail Trader

Role: Ensures stock levels per sku are set correctly to meet sales demand, potentialize availability for stores, minimising overstocks and maximising profit. 

Core Competencies & Responsibility:

1. Allocation and Replenishment
• Executes accurate initial allocations according Demand Planning and Range Visualisation, ensuring store SKU stock is sufficient to drive sales and make displays credible, not over or under-stocking
• Adheres to Retail trading recommendations in line with trade performance
• Continually reviews allocation depths, by store, by product for territories and categories
• Checks warehouse stock is sufficient, identifying opportunities to trade stock between channels
• Review daily pick volumes
• Ensure sufficient stock in stores to potentialise sales of promotional activities
• Ensure CON lines have at least 95% availability
• Reviews daily/weekly line performance with Retail Trader, ensuring optima's are correct and potential issues identified
• Responsible for clearing of sku fragmentation and is aware of DC intake, pick and dispatch capacities

2. Intake
• Reviews intake into the DC and highlights any issues to the wider team i.e. where stock is insufficient or excessive

3. Grading
• Allocating to system grades as defined by Demand Planning and Range Vis
• Analyse grading performance identifying opportunities and communicates to Demand Planning
• Identifies stock areas that need to be adjusted from the initial grading, to potentialize profit and trade through excessive stock

4. System Skills
• Allocation and replenishment 
• Maintains A&R system parameters

5. Communication
• Store visits
• Management of Retail feedback inbox, communicating to relevant team if necessary 
• Weekly meetings with category team to discuss current allocations, stock and future intake/distribution ranging

6. Team Support
• Identifies and shares best practice with fellow allocation colleagues
• Supports category performance
• Supports team with Monday analysis; runs departmental reports, ad hoc analysis and company reports such as P.E, Launch and Promotional tracker
• Sets up weekly regional MD and price change sheets
