Overview

This is a newly created role in recognition of the need for Mountain Warehouse to have increased focus and reporting relating to all our Property related costs.

You will be part of our Non Stock Accounts Payable team and join 11 other team members at our offce in Coventry

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will have two property Analyst’s reporting to you and will support and manage their day to day activities. Tasks undertaken by the Team include payment runs, aged creditor reviews, statement recs and supporting the property team with queries.

This role is pivotal in ensuring all our Property related costs are managed and paid as per our lease agreements and direction from our Property Department.


What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the implementation of our new Property management solution.
  • Managing 2 Analysts and their day to day activities in addition to  providing support / guidance / towards their development
  • Work closely with our Property Team with highlighting risks, resolving queries and payment issues.
  • In conjunction with our Finance Reporting colleagues monitor costs by store / location and flag any missing / overdue balances.
  • Review aged creditors and provide management reporting on progress / concerns
  • Be an integral part of the AP management team based in Coventry and help achieve shared objectives

We'd love to meet someone 

  • Who has AP Team Leader experience, preferably in a Property related role - but not essential
  • Has project implementation experience - working as a team to implement and then support a successful project. But again not essential.
  • Who can challenge and question our processes and help make them operationally efficient
  • With previous knowledge of NetSuite (we are implementing in 2022) would be beneficial
  • Who has knowledge of AP workflow solutions - scanning, approval, etc
  • Who is keen to improve their management skills and add value to our successful team in Coventry
