Overview

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Email & CRM Manager, the role will be instrumental in leading and developing the email channel. The role will own the planning, delivery and evaluation of email marketing activities across our multiple markets, with a focus on increasing our range of automations and trigger emails as we become more customer centric.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage the e-mailable customer database with a focus on retention and engagement
  • Lead a team to deliver on the email strategy for all regions including the testing program
  • Responsibility of the email process from planning to deployment; ensuring all campaigns are deployed on time
  • Use commercial and data driven decisions on email mix and product selection for campaigns
  • Segment the emailable base to effectively target the right customers at the right time, with the right message across all the regions we operate
  • Identify opportunities for email at the different stages of the customer's lifecycle and purchasing journey based on analysis and test and learn techniques
  • Develop contact strategies to realise these opportunities which optimise automated customer journey flows and data-driven triggered emails
  • Conduct weekly and monthly insightful analysis; extracting data from the ESP and data reporting tools, to update reports and give recommendations to further improve email and customer metrics and profitability

 

We'd love to meet someone with

  • A degree in marketing, business, communications or a relevant subject is preferred
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an email marketing role, ideally within ecommerce
  • Hands-on experience of using an ESP to build and send emails
  • Proven experience of working on lifecycle automated campaigns
  • Data literate, passionate about analysing results and motivated by driving success in the form of revenue and profit
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication and copy writing skills
  • Experience in using Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel
  • Pro-active ‘do-er’, keen to roll your sleeves up and make a difference
