An opportunity to join our Accounts Payable team based in Coventry.
This is a 6 months fixed term contract role and would be perfect for someone starting their Finance career and is looking for some hands-on transactional experience.
The role covers a number of core tasks and will support their AP colleagues with current priorities and projects.
What you'll be doing
- Receiving and processing invoices in our automated workflow system (V1). Includes scanning and coding of invoices.
- Supporting the management of our AP inbox and resolve queries on behalf of suppliers and internal departments
- Opportunity to gain experience in each of our AP teams - UK, International and Property
- Supplier statement reconciliations using our excel templates
- Creation of new suppliers in our Finance system (Sun)
- Opportunity to be involved in projects including our migration to NetSuite (replacing Sun) later this year and our new Property system (Horizon)
- Assistance with payment runs and allocation of transactions
We'd love to meet someone with
- Desire to join an Accounts Payable team and develop a career in Finance
- Strong numeracy and IT skills (particularly Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail, performing all work with high levels of accuracy
- Open, friendly person who is proactive, keen to develop and work as part of a growing team
