Overview:

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an ambitious Inventory Manager looking to join a fast-growing business and gain experience in delivering real results in a challenging environment. We're looking for an individual passionate about improving stock accuracy in our retail store estate (with a global remit). The individual will be project managing the roll out of RFID and retail stock take calendar as well as having accountability over improving the accuracy within our stores and driving down shrink. We'd love to find someone who can quickly identify opportunities in our people, processes and systems and strategically plan and work collaboratively to make impactful change. The role reports to the Head of Retail Operations.

This is a Hybrid working role, and is a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set all SLA’s and KPI’s for our retail store teams globally and monitor the performance of these. Lead all commercial and operational reviews on a regular basis to discuss the current inventory position and reporting in our store estate.
  • Develop continuous improvement plans and longer-term strategic requirements, which include collaborating with retail leaders to review stock handling processes and design and implement new or adapt existing processes to improve accuracy and compliance results.
  • Identify, design and facilitate training for retail teams to drive compliance ensuring all training remains relevant and up-to-date for all regions.
  • Project manage and be the primary retail contact for RFID in our store estate globally.
  • The business lead for advancing our stock taking processes in our store estate globally.
  • Identify, design and conduct audits in our retail estate to support stores with their stock handling processes and operational compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the Inventory management processes are robust across all retail sites and able to flex with volume.
  • Support the continuation of an Inventory Reporting suite to ensure all stock is accurately reported on through all processes within the agreed SLA’s.
  • Being the primary contact for all retail Inventory related accuracies, directly and indirectly via all forms of communication.
  • Working closely with our Retail Teams to share data, track trends, and develop continuous improvement initiatives.

We would love to meet someone with:

  • Able to identify and commercially translate the opportunities to improve stock accuracy and shrink.
  • Previous experience within an Inventory management role responsible for the accuracy of inventory across a multiple sites.
  • Deep understanding of stock movements and able to identify discrepancies physical v. systemic.
  • Exceptional analytical and IT skills – knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs
  • Operational experience either working within or leading a team. Previous exposure to RFID would be beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail with an ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Have strong inter-personal and communication skills, to build and maintain relationships
  • Highly organized who can manage time effectively to meet given deadlines
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
