Our E-commerce business is a high-growth, international operation that significantly contributes to total group revenue via direct-to-consumer websites, third-party marketplaces, and digital concessions. 

The eCommerce development team is small but ambitious, and we are looking for a Delivery Manager to help our growth and take the product to the next level. 

 

About the role 

The Delivery Manager is a critical role, working with a mix of disciplines to help bring about change and enable others to make great things happen. 

You’ll be working as part of a cross-functional team that is made up of everything you need to deliver end-to-end web and mobile experiences which reach millions of users globally. 

As a Delivery Manager, your responsibility is to enable those around you through great facilitation, servant leadership, and implementation of the right behaviours and frameworks to ensure a positive and effective team, capable of taking on big challenges.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Being one of the main points of contact for stakeholders working with the Web development team 
  • Supporting the development team, along with the Technical Team Lead, to ensure their understanding and work achieves the end goal, and the project maintains momentum. 
  • Providing expertise to shape and communicate strategies and drive forward the team’s roadmap 
  • Ensuring projects are prepared according to the latest business priorities and timeframes, as well as managing the team’s capacity to start new projects 
  • Delivering change in an agile manner – working with the development team to break requirements down into deliverable chunks and aid continuous releases  
  • Delivering complex projects – planning at a higher level as well as getting into the detail to make things happen when needed 
  • Identifying and communicating risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers 
  • Managing relationships with third parties 
  • Providing UX and CX advice where required 
  • End-to-end testing 
  • Documenting new processes on the company Wiki 
  • Delivering end-user training 
  • Contribute to complex cross-functional delivery projects influencing all areas of the business 
  • Communication and storytelling are key, to being able to identify and work through opportunities and challenges that come your way 
  • Collaborate with your team on ways of working, frameworks, tools, and practices to build the capability to define and achieve shared goals 
  • Build trusting relationships with those around you to create aligned plans and roadmaps, meeting stakeholder and user needs 
  • Hold context and accountability within the groups you work, ensuring those around you are focused and tenacious 
  • Embrace ambiguity and use your influence to implement new processes that enable the teams to run more efficiently 

 
About you  

  • Experienced in delivering digital products and initiatives in a fast-paced environment 
  • E-commerce experience essential 
  • Experienced in working in agile and the frameworks and tools supporting that culture 
  • Analytical and have demonstrable problem-solving experience in ambiguous fast-paced environments 
  • Experienced with delivery metrics to help make informed decisions for the delivery of your team 
  • Comfortable working and communicating closely across all levels and departments; building relationships and fostering collaboration in cross-functional teams 
  • Confident in productivity tooling, such as Jira, Lucidchart, and Teams 
  • Comfortable capturing and challenging briefs to ensure we are delivering the most worthwhile solutions 
  • Experience in leading, energizing and mentoring a team 
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritising several tasks at once 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Experience leading medium-large scale projects
