Overview

Mountain Warehouse's eCommerce business is a high growth, international operation that significantly contributes to total group revenue. As part of strategic digital acceleration, we launched an on-site marketplace platform in 2022 with the aim of expanding our third-party brand offering to deliver our customers unparalleled choice.

The Branded Trade Executive will be responsible for ensuring we drive an impactful customer experience for customers shopping our marketplace brands. You will own the day to day and long-term trading activities for the marketplace working closely with the wider eCommerce team to maximise performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyse and compile accurate reports on trading and KPI performance, drawing insight and making recommendations that drive growth.
  • Pre-empt trading risks and opportunities through data-driven, proactive, recommendations.
  • Responsible for the Marketplace customer journey through the site to improve the conversion, reduce bounce rate and basket abandonment. Using analytics tools to understand the pinch points of customer experience & drive initiative to improve.
  • Own the Branded landing pages and make updates to showcase our wide range of third party products.
  • Input into broader strategy, defining any necessary development goals for the project roadmap.
  • Maintain the brands trading calendar and manage promotional and merchandising strategies in collaboration with the wider eCommerce Trade and Category teams.
  • Work closely with the Marketplace Category team to identify and propose brands and products for participation in promotional and social activities, tracking performance and providing feedback.
  • Work alongside the marketing and acquisition & retention teams to maximise performance of promotions, campaigns and seasonal best sellers.
  • Present ideas and updates to all levels of seniority.

We'd love to meet someone with

  • Min 2 years eCommerce background in a similar role, preferably with experience of marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience analysing data to identify trends.
  • Excellent Excel Skills and experience using Power BI and Google Analytics advantages.
  • Website merchandising experience preferred.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and efficient.
