Location: London
We have an amazing opportunity for a full time Assistant Garment Technologist to join our team to manage casual clothing (Jersey and Woven).
What you’ll be doing
- Managing the quality and fit for casual clothing.
- Running fit meetings to drive consistency and improvement.
- Driving innovation in product, performance, and sustainability through benchmarking and technical advances.
- Integral part of the buying team, working with the Garment Technologist to advise on technical and sustainable suitability of fabric, construction and fit.
- Managing your categories testing and AQL programme.
- Managing sustainable proof of claim certification.
- Monitoring returns data to spot patterns and poor performance to deliver improvements.
- Building supplier relationships to influence quality and fit.
We’d love to meet someone with
- At least 1 years in an assistant technologist role.
- Capable of fitting unaided.
- Experienced at testing review and managing failures.
- Good data management and reporting skills.
- Experience of working with offshore suppliers.
- Good influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Team player capable of working under pressure to deadlines.
- Organised, methodical with great attention to detail.
